Corey A. Schaeffer is a lifelong resident of Lehighton and graduated from Lehighton Area High School in 1991. He attended Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, from 1991-1993 before transferring to Northampton County Community College and entering the Funeral Service Program. He graduated from Northampton County Community College in 1995 with an associate's degree in Applied Science in Funeral Service Education.
Before purchasing Phifer Funeral Home, Currently Schaeffer Funeral Home, Corey worked for Jeffries Funeral Home in Weatherly, PA from 1995-1998 and Phifer Funeral Home, Lehighton, from 1997-1998.
Corey is married to Rebecca (Gilbert) Schaeffer, a lifelong resident of Lehighton, and they have four children Riley, Jackson, Grant, and Rowan.
